After the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, Global Green presented a vision to rebuild New Orleans and the Gulf Coast sustainably. In this effort, the first sustainable mixed use community was built in the Holy Cross neighborhood of the 9th Ward was constructed, educating thousands of residents through the Build it Back Green Initiative and rebuilding Green Schools.
