The SNS (formerly SNA) is funded through the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)’s Office of Sustainable Communities under the Building Blocks for Sustainable Communities Program. In 2011 there were three certified sustainable planning projects through the new LEED for Neighborhood Development rating system.
