The Earth Dialogues are a series of public video conferences that bring together society to search for sustainable solutions. These dialogues seek to resolve the most pressing and interconnected challenges of insecurity, poverty and environmental degradation.
The History
Launched in 2002 by Mikhail Gorbachev and Maurice Strong, the Secretary-General of the 1992 Earth Summit and Chairman of the Earth Council, the Earth Dialogues represent an integrated strategy to develop and promote a more sustainable way of living.
Sustainable Stories
The overall approach of the events is solutions-oriented, consensus-seeking and aimed at sharing best practices and success stories from local, regional and global experiences.
