Hi, I am Samantha, but I really only go by Sam, owner & maker at Likewoah Handmade, a Portland based Fiber Art & Dye business.
I started crocheting when I was about fourteen, sitting in the back of a snowboard van on a way to a snowboard contest and from then on I was hooked! Though my business started with just finished crocheted items it has evolved over the years. I have run variations of my business since high school but Likewoah Handmade was officially founded in 2015.
I now create a variety of fiber art goods, dyed products, as well as offer supplies, patterns, and kits. I took my love of teaching, and now teach workshops as well as offer small business mentorship and coaching programs.
Likewoah Handmade is 1% For The Planet Member, and 5% of all Likewoah Handmade sales are donated to Planned Parenthood.
I do my best as a small business to source only environmentally friendly materials, packaging materials, and waste as little as possible. Please recycle, reuse, do what’s best for the world we get to call home.
