Jelt was established in 2014 as a social enterprise with a mission to give back. Jelt belts are high-end elastic belts made from recycled plastic with an ingenious low-profile buckle and a grippy inner gel that keeps pants in place while hiking, biking, skiing, golfing, traveling or with everyday jeans. The buckles are metal-free for ease through TSA checkpoints and ideal for people with metal allergies. Jelt belts are manufactured in Montana, providing opportunities for women on remote rural ranches to claim their power through job security. The company also donates a portion of every sale to organizations supporting veterans, families and the environment. Jelt is a certified B Corporation, certified Woman Owned Small Business, and also a member of 1% for the Planet.
