We are a small family business based in Mussoorie town in the Himalayas. Our main interest is in promoting the use of environmentally friendly natural dyes. We make handwoven shawls and wraps which are coloured with natural dyes such as madder, indigo, sappanwood and shellac.
We use simple but energy efficient dyeing techniques to reduce the consumption of energy and water. Also, we produce very little effluent, which is a serious problem with chemical dyeing industry.
