In addition to our certification as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Woman Business Enterprise (WBE), Bio Logical is certified as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), and as a Local Nevada Emerging Small Business (NESB).
The Bio Logical team has a wide variety of experience with specialties in multiple fields. Our team has provided services for projects in the desert environment since 1996, affording the unique experience of observing many changes that have occurred over the years throughout the desert tortoise industry. Our biologists have experience as Field Contact Representatives, Environmental Inspectors, Natural Resource Technicians, and Authorized Biologists. Our team has managed field crews associated with large-scale solar, power transmission corridors, roads and pipelines. Additionally, accumulated field experience includes passive relocation of burrowing owls, raptor nest and nesting bird surveys, and desert big horn sheep monitoring and mitigation, among other species work in Southern Nevada and surrounding areas.
Research efforts have included disease monitoring, highway passage, home range monitoring/translocation, and husbandry. We encompass a multi-state understanding of project mitigation measures and coordinate efforts between biological crews, contractors and BLM representatives.
