Sustainability Achievements
Moved our sales and production of product lines to a majority of fully organic products.
Majority of our production is local at our facility in Chicago, IL USA.
Increased our product filling materials to be a majority organic sustainable and locally grown with the balance or recycled synthetic materials.
Reuse large and growing quantities of corrugated shipping cartons daily to reduce virgin carton needs as well as reduce waste while recycling the balance.
Retrofitted factory and warehouse to LED lighting to reduce energy consumption and reduce light bulb waste.
Designed and aided a 700,000 sq.ft. multi tenant commercial building to divert corrugated waste for recycling and reduce waste pick ups from 35 per week down to 2 per week reducing local pollution and cost while recycling over 1 million pounds of corrugated cartons previously landfilled.
Planted 10,000 trees to offset carbon footprint through non-profit partner creating beneficial food forests on several continents that improve soil, food production, building materials, healthier habitats to enable local populations to live sustainably.
