Green Cross Switzerland partnered with the Blacksmith Institute to prepare the report The World’s Worst Pollution Problems: Assessing Health Risks at Hazardous Waste Sites. This report demonstrated the ills of toxic pollution from industrial and mining processes, stating that at least 125 million people are at risk globally from industrial pollution. Green Cross International brought awareness and educational programs to develop safer, more environmentally sound methods for agriculture, military and industrial processes.
