Join the Movement to Rebuild Communities Impacted by the Eaton Fire (Los Angeles Wildfires) and Hurricane Katrina
LOS ANGELES, CA April 17th, 2025 —
Global Green USA, in partnership with All-A-Glow Artisans of Sedona, is proud to announce the Earth Day release of the Global Green Signature Bracelet on April 22nd – a symbol of unity, resilience, and the power of community in the face of climate disasters. This exclusive bracelet was created to raise vital funds for families devastated by the Los Angeles Eaton Fire and to support the ongoing recovery of New Orleans’ Lower Ninth Ward, still struggling to rebuild from Hurricane Katrina.
Nearly two decades after Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans’ Lower Ninth Ward continues to grapple with recovery challenges. While other parts of the city have seen significant progress, the Lower Ninth Ward remains marked by vacant lots and overgrown properties, underscoring the area’s ongoing struggle to rebuild. Attempts to rebuild have been plagued by construction defects, and many victims have been left abandoned to deal with the consequences.
Meanwhile, The Eaton Fire–which erupted earlier this year–has inflicted severe damage on communities in Los Angeles County, particularly in Altadena. The wildfire burned over 14,000 acres and destroyed more than 5,000 structures. The fire disproportionately impacted Altadena’s Black community, with nearly half of Black-owned or rented households experiencing destruction or major damage, compared to 37% of non-Black households.
Global Green USA remains dedicated to integrating the shared interests of people, places, and the planet, and pledges to continue its efforts to support some of the most severely impacted and vulnerable communities affected by climate related disasters.
Crafted with care and intention, the Signature Bracelet was co-designed by Glow and Michael Mendoza, owners of All-A-Glow Artisans of Sedona, and William Bridge and Amber Claire of Global Green. Available in two distinct styles, the bracelet is made from all-natural semi-precious stones: a 6mm Jade design and an 8mm Jade and Aventurine mix, featuring either a bamboo or stainless-steel charm. Each element carries deep meaning—Aventurine symbolizes opportunity, prosperity, and healing, while Jade represents balance, peace, and harmony. Together, they serve as a reminder of the vital role each of us plays in fostering unity and rebuilding communities affected by climate change.
William Bridge, CEO of Global Green, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “I am extremely excited about our partnership with All-A-Glow Artisans. In these divided times, we must unite around a universal truth: our connection to the planet we call home. The Signature Bracelet represents a commitment to a healthier planet through community-led action and resilience in the face of today’s environmental challenges. But this is more than just a bracelet—it’s a statement of solidarity, a commitment to rebuilding lives, and a symbol of hope for a future where no community is left behind. We invite you to be part of this movement. Together, we can turn compassion into action and create lasting change.”
Amber Claire, Head of Marketing for Global Green, added, “As a proud advocate for Global Green since 2005 to being the Head of Marketing for this incredible organization, I am deeply passionate about shining a light on what Global Green stands for. I have witnessed firsthand the devastation caused by the LA wildfires, and while lives, properties, and sentimental heirlooms can never be replaced, we are committed to helping those affected. At the same time, we continue our work in New Orleans, raising funds for victims of Hurricane Katrina who lost their homes and are still struggling with the long-term impact of one of the worst natural disasters in U.S. history.”
A portion of proceeds from each bracelet will directly support Global Green’s ongoing efforts to aid disaster-impacted families—helping those in Los Angeles rebuild after the Eaton Fire and continuing long-overdue recovery efforts in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans, a community that has been largely abandoned.
Global Green also encourages everyone who purchases a bracelet to write down a pledge to themselves or to their community, in the fight towards climate resilience. Each bracelet comes with a pledge card to share on social media with the tag. #GGPledge4Planet
