Global Green on the Move in July

A quick look at the Global Green USA team on the move in July: Beth Galante, director of our New Orleans office, was honored for the “Champions of Change” program at the White House…. CEO Matt Petersen attended the TEDGlobal conference in Edinburgh, where GGUSA board member Pat Mitchell hosted a panel discussion…. Walker Wells conducted urban gardening research with visits to Youngstown, Ohio, to check on progress there to turn vacant lots into urban farms, then ventured to Buffalo, New York, to visit the Massachusetts Avenue Project (MAP) community farm…. Mary Luevano and Gina Goodhill were in San Bruno, California, to speak about rebuilding green with residents who lost homes in last year’s gas pipeline explosion…. The NY Coalition for Resource Recovery (CoRR) team was in Salinas Valley, California for the second of our “Follow that Box” series…. More to report next month!
